Woman Shares Epic Tattoo Fail She Had Done As A Teen

TikToker Shares 'Dumbest' Tattoo

A TikToker has shared the ‘dumbest’ tattoo fail she’s ever gotten.

Maria Avery, from America, took to the social media platform to show off the inking she had done when she was just 18-years-old.

She said that although she thought it was a ‘good idea’ at the time, she’s realised it’s not so easy to fix a tattoo mistake.

In the clip, Maria explained: “’Keep Going’ is such an inspirational quote. I thought I should just get it tattooed on me.”

“But here’s where I put it,” she said, as she gestured to above her bum. “This is where I thought it would be a good idea.

“My family saw it and was like: ‘what the hell is that? It’s so sexual’. Well, I didn’t get it removed as I thought I could fix it.”

The American then added: “A year later, I got ‘forward’ going after it. ‘Keep Going Forward’… It only gets dumber at this point.

“So I realised I had to cover it up or get it removed. I didn’t want to get it removed so I just covered it up.”

Maria then shared a photo of the cover-up she had done, showing an illustrations of flowers that completely covered the tattoo quote.

She commented: “It’s covered up now and it’s beautiful. I’m really happy with its meaning. But don’t get dumb tattoos you’ve seen of Pinterest.”

So far, the post has been liked over 165,000 times and people have taken to the comments to share their thoughts.

One viewer commented: “All of my tattoos are from Pinterest too and I know I’m going to regret them someday. I got the quote ‘Create Yourself’ big on my forearm.”

Another said: “I’m happy the roses have fixed it. Love how it looks now.”

“I got ‘Love Yourself First’ in a language I don’t even speak,” a third admitted.
