“Our hearts are broken.

“Tom was the centre of our world and we can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence.

“We are truly thankful for the outpouring of love and support and ask that we all unite to ensure Tom’s light continues to shine for his beautiful children.

“Thank you to everyone who has supported in his care throughout. He fought until the very end.”

The 32-year-old also paid tribute to her late husband on Instagram, where she posted two photos of Parker.

The first image is black and white and shows the musician posing in a white T-shirt. The second heartbreakingly shows him with Kelsey and their two children, Aurelia, 2, and Bodhi, 1.

In 2020, Parker was left devastated when it was confirmed that his brain tumour was terminal. At the time, he was given just 18 months to live.

Miraculously, the boy band member managed to beat the odds and continued to pursue medical treatment, including chemotherapy and 30 radiotherapy sessions.

Before his tragic death, he had been undergoing treatment over in Spain. This meant he was forced to pull out of The Wanted’s UK tour.

However, Parker left fans overjoyed when he turned up for later days, where he apparently performed while sitting on a throne.

His bandmates Max George, Nathan Sykes, Siva Kaneswaran and Jay McGuinness, would reportedly always welcome him to the stage.

Sykes would apparently address the crowds, calling out: “Give it up for Tom Parker.”
