Tom Parker had a heartbreaking reply when he was asked about being denied the chance to watch his kids grow up.

The Wanted star, who tragically passed away earlier this week, gave OK! magazine an inspirational message when contemplating not being there for Aurelia, 2, and Bodhi, 1, one day.

He reportedly told the publication: “No, because I’m going to be here, I’m going to fight this.”

His wife, Kelsey, added: “We have to stay positive. The prognosis is based on much older people, as this usually affects those 50-plus.

“Tom is a young, otherwise fit and healthy guy and he has a much better chance of fighting this and benefiting from some of the new treatments out there.”

Elsewhere in the interview, the couple also opened up about their dream of having two more kids one day.

“We are planning for more children – I’ve always wanted a big family and I think we’ll end up with four,” Kelsey told the publication.

After it was announced that the 33-year-old had tragically passed away, Kelsey reportedly told The Sun: “It is with the heaviest of hearts that we confirm Tom passed away peacefully earlier today with all of his family by his side.

“Our hearts are broken.

“Tom was the centre of our world and we can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence.

“We are truly thankful for the outpouring of love and support and ask that we all unite to ensure Tom’s light continues to shine for his beautiful children.

“Thank you to everyone who has supported in his care throughout. He fought until the very end.”
