A trans woman was left feeling ‘mortified’ after allegedly being referred to by her deadname.

It all started when the TikToker, who goes by the name @kloebby, claims she went to Planet Fitness gym as a guest of a friend.

“You went into my credit card information and got my deadname and proceeded to yell at me while I’m going to the bathroom… my deadname, in front of all these people.

“You’ve humiliated me in front of your entire gym with my deadname. Just because you wanted me take a photo for my account so you could stop harassing me about my phone number when I was brought in as a guest.

“This is disgusting. It’s very disgusting behaviour. I just wanted to go to the gym and use these facilities in a ‘judgement-free’ zone.”

She added: “Everybody else is nice, it’s the staff.”

The TikToker then claimed they would be filing a small claims action lawsuit.

Since sharing the clip, it’s accumulated over 350,000 views and thousands have taken to the comments to share their support.

One viewer said: “I’ve been a member for seven years. Seven years! Today, I cancelled my account. Why? Because of this.”

Another added: “I’m so sorry that happened to you. That was a violation of your privacy.”

“As someone who works at Planet Fitness [on the] front desk, this would never happen at my location. I’m so sorry you went through this and we’ve been trained against this…,” a third commented.
