Travis Barker’s Resurfaced Kim Kardashian Comment Causes Uproar

Travis Barker’s resurfaced Kim Kardashian comment has caused an uproar following his wedding to her sister, Kourtney. 

In the Blink-182 drummer’s 2015 memoir, titled ‘Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death, and Drums, Drums, Drums,’ he opens up about a 2006 trip to Amsterdam, involving Paris Hilton and her closet organiser, who happened to be the Kardashian. 

Despite dating Hilton at the time, Barker admitted that he was eyeing the reality TV star up.

Recalling the time, Barker reportedly penned: “We all checked into our hotel and then rented bicycles and rode all over Amsterdam – that’s what you do there. It was me, Lil Chris, my drum tech Daniel, Paris, and Kim. 

“We all got high as a kite at a coffee shop. Then we rode over to the Absinthe Bar, and then the red-light district.

“I was having a blast and was happy to let the world know it. I kept on secretly checking out Kim, telling Lil Chris, ‘I don’t care if she’s the closet girl, she’s f***ing hot’.”

This isn’t the only time that Barker addressed his initial attraction to Kim Kardashian.

In a 2015 interview with US Weekly, he reportedly said: “How could you not stare at Kim? Mind you, I enjoyed hanging out with Paris, but I love curvy girls. Kim was eye candy.

“I was in no way disrespectful to Paris, but I couldn’t keep my eyes off Kim.”

Since the comments have resurfaced, people have taken to TikTok and shared their thoughts.

One said: “Well, that’s awkward!”

Another added: “Oh my God, and now Kourtney is married to him. Like what…?”

“Ew! Each to their own but I would not date a guy who spoke like that about my sister or even chilled with her like that…,” a third commented.
