Tristan Thompson has ‘asked a judge for an emergency gag order’ in his paternity case with Maralee Nichols, according to US Weekly.
It’s believed that the 30-year-old filed a petition in Harris County, Texas, on December 7, requesting that he and the personal trainer cannot speak out about the case publically.
The move comes not long after the outlet reported that Nichols filed a paternity suit against the NBA star in June, alleging that they conceived the infant when Thompson was celebrating his 30th birthday back in March.

Around the same time, Khloe Kardashian’s on/off partner made his own court filing, in which he reportedly acknowledged that he and the fitness instructor had had sex multiple times.
It’s believed that later documents revealed that the athlete has claimed he will be retiring in 2022.
Thompson reportedly penned: “You know how I feel. My feelings haven’t changed at all. [I] won’t be involved at all.
“By the way, if you think having this baby is gonna make you some money. It’s completely wrong. You are aware that I’m retiring after this season.
“So in terms of support, it will be whatever is required monthly for someone who’s unemployed.”

According to reports, Thompson was in a relationship with Kardashian – with who he shares three-year-old True – at the time of his encounter with Nichols.
In June, the reality TV star and professional basketball player apparently called it quits, after spending the past five years on and off.
An insider told US Weekly that Kardashian ‘really loves Tristan’ and news of the paternity case has saddened her.
They claimed: “This is a very sad time for Khloe.
“She really loves Tristan and still held a candle for him. She thought he might have changed his ways. Khloe now knows that Tristan was unfaithful to her when they were back together.”
