Tyson Fury has made a ‘threat’ to Russia amid the Ukraine crisis, over any potential attack of the UK.
The professional boxer appeared at a press conference on March 1, ahead of his fight against Dillian Whyte next month, and spoke out about the ‘invasion’.
When a reporter asked him what he thought about former opponent Wladimir Klitschko, his brother Vitali Klitschko, and fellow heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk ‘enlisting,’ he said he thought it was ‘fantastic’.

He answered: “[It’s] fantastic. I’ll be the first one to join up if England gets involved or America. I’ll be first in line for the job, my dad will as well and all the boys.
“We’ll all be signing up to defend – that’s what I’ve got to say.
“I think if you’re from that country, living there – defend her. Love your woman and fight for your country.”
Although many of Fury’s fans praised his short speech, others weren’t so impressed.

After viewing the clip on Twitter, one person tweeted: “Couldn’t even praise Wlad or Vitali without mentioning himself first.”
“Fury, the way he loves life and himself,” added another. “I’m 100% he’ll never go to war if England gets involved with the war against Putin.
“Wladimir Klitschko, Vitali Klitschko and Oleksandr Usyk are different and you can’t compare them with Tyson Fury.”
“Thought this was an exceptionally poor answer,” a third remarked. “Open goal opportunity to praise the immense bravery of a former opponent, his brother, a heavyweight champion rival and P4P star Lomachenko, who are all fighting for something greater than any boxing title.”
