UK’s Christmas Number One Could Be Song Called ‘Boris Johnson Is A F***ing C***’

The UK’s Christmas number one single could potentially be The Kunts’ song titled ‘Boris Johnson Is A F***ing C***’, beating Ladbaby to the top.

A critique of British Prime Minister Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson, in the version of a song, could be this year’s Christmas number one single in the UK, as it currently stands at number 2 on both iTunes and Amazon download charts.

The track is just behind Ladbaby’s ‘Don’t Stop Me Eatin”, which is a comedy remake of Journey’s hit ‘Don’t Stop Believin”.

UK bookmakers have now begun slashing the odds on The Kunts reaching number one from 10/1 to 6/1.

The Kunts has received celebrity endorsements from Black Mirror writer and TV satirist Charlie Brooker and Wildhearts frontman Ginger.

The song is likely in response to the UK government’s last-minute making decisions, particularly in regards to the proposed relaxation of coronavirus restrictions over the festive period.

Even if the single doesn’t match to reach it to number one, this could potentially be Mike Gibbons’   most successful single as of yet. In 2010, Mike’s band reached number 66 in the national charts, with another politically-themed song called ‘Use My Arsehole As A C***’, at Christmas. Meanwhile, his 2011 single ‘F***sticks’ peaked at number 63.

The cut-off point for any streams or purchases that go towards the year’s UK Christmas singles chart is at 11.59 pm on Thursday, December 24. The Christmas UK number one for 2020 will be announced on BBC Radio 1 from 2 pm on Christmas Day.
