Trailer For Netflix’s Rebecca Starring Lily James And Armie Hammer Has Dropped

The brand new trailer for Netflix’s latest psychological thriller Rebecca has just been released and it is certainly one that will get you hooked from the get-go!

Starring Lily James, Armie Hammer and Kristen Scott Thomas, Netflix’s Rebecca brings the much loved gothic novel to our screens.

Rebecca tells the story of a young newlywed, who arrives at her new husband’s imposing family estate on a windswept English coast and finds herself in a constant battle, shadowing his first wife Rebecca, whose legacy lives on in the house long after her death.

You can check out the gripping trailer below.

There’s nothing quite like a spooky psychological thriller trailer to keep you wide awake at your desk is there?

It’s quite a spooky but rather interesting trailer, it combines the glitz, glamour and gorgeousness of the French Riviera alongside the dark and gothic feel of the house, that has been left in the shadows since Rebecca’s death. In fact, it has a very similar feel to 2012’s The Woman In Black, starring Daniel Radcliffe.

Rebecca is set for an October release on Netflix, which sets things up quite nicely for more of the streaming service’s popular Halloween content. Last year, the streaming service launched its “Netflix and Chills” playlist, which included the likes of The Silence of the Lambs, Alfred Hitchcock’s classic Psycho, and the sledgehammer-wielding Kathy Bates as Annie Wilks in Rob Reiner’s Misery.

As well as classic horrors, Netflix has also released a wide range of original films and series, such as the hugely popular horror series The Haunting Of Hill House, the sequel of which, The Haunting Of Bly Manor will be released just in time for this year’s Halloween, on October 9.

Rebecca will launch globally on Netflix on October 21 and will feature an all-star cast including Lily James, Armie Hammer, Kristen Scott Thomas, Keeley Hawes, Ann Dowd and Sam Riley.
