Vegan protesters placed roses on packaged meat to ‘mourn’ the death of animals.
The video, which recently resurfaced on Twitter, shows a number of shoppers gathering around a meat counter at a supermarket with music from an orchestra dubbed over the footage.
A protester steps forward and places three roses on ‘fresh meat’ at the counter before another does the same.

The 14-second clip of the funeral-like procession – which has over 7,000 likes and over 1,000 retweets – finishes with a shot of more people coming forward to place the flowers over red meat.
Naturally, hundreds took to social media to share their take on the footage.
Another said: “Now I can bring my girlfriend a rose with dinner.”
A third commented: “If y’all could keep doing this my wife loves when I bring home flowers and a steak to cook.”
Unhappy with what they’d just witnessed, a fourth wrote: “That’s enough Twitter for today.”
Some tried to debate the ongoing issues surrounding vegan protesters, with one writing: “When animals eat meats then it’s fine but when people do then it’s suddenly bad?”
“Never help themselves these lot do they?” another pondered.
“How do you do something like this without dying of cringe?” questioned another.

Some, however, did praise the procession, noting its undisruptive nature.
One wrote: “This is the most respectable thing they have done so far. I’m surprised they didn’t throw blood at the end of the video.”
