The caption left many of Beckham’s followers confused as it has been confirmed by her eldest son that he has taken his wife’s surname as his middle name.

“That’s the second post she’s done it on now,” one fan pointed out. “Mummy’s not happy. Brand Peltz-Beckham is on the way and she’s p***ed.”

Another added: “I think these guys are doing this on purpose. It’s Peltz-Beckham! They clearly mentioned it (both Brooklyn and Nicola).”

In agreement, a third wrote: “I think Vicky is annoyed!”

Others took to the comments and defended Beckham, with one saying: “I disagree, she just writes their combined last name. He’s not a Peltz. Victoria is very sweet and would also empower her daughter to hyphen her name if she wishes. We don’t all just take the man’s last name anymore.”
