Bodybuilder Slams Model For ‘Totally Inappropriate’ Act At Gym That Should’ve Got Her Kicked Out
A bodybuilder and fitness influencer has slammed a model for her ‘totally inappropriate’ act at the gym, which he believes should’ve got her kicked out.
Fitness influencer Joey Swoll frequently calls out ‘inappropriate’ gym behavior and he claims this latest incident is one of the worst he’s ever seen.
It all started when Brazillian model Sarah Caus took to Instagram and uploaded a video of herself working out in the strength training section of a public gym.
In the viral video, which was originally shared on Caus’ Instagram account to her 784,000 followers, the model walks up to a barbell, straddles it, and proceeds to squat on top of it while gyrating along the barbell.
The video quickly caught the attention of Swoll, who was outraged by what he saw.
In a one-minute video, he shared his thoughts: “This is one of the most disgusting videos that I’ve ever seen in the gym.
“I’m sorry I even have to post this, but videos like this are popping up all over social media and it needs to stop. People are sick and tired of it.”
He called the act ‘totally inappropriate,’ emphasizing that gym owners must step up and take action by removing individuals who behave this way.
Swoll claims all of this was done to promote the model’s OFs account. While he has no problem with people making a living through these platforms, he draws a line at such behavior taking place in a public gym.
He added: “There’s a time and place for that, and it’s not mid-workout in a public gym.
“If you can’t have any self-respect or dignity, at least have some respect for the other people in the gym who have to use that same equipment. You need to do better.”
Many others have echoed a similar sentiment to Swoll.
One person wrote: “Videos like this really make me weep for civilization,” while another said: “I’m kinda surprised this doesn’t violate some criminal statute about indecent behavior.”
Another user nostalgically remarked: “Remember the good old days when the gym was for working out and nothing else… those were good times indeed.”
In the wake of the backlash, it appeared Caus deleted her Instagram account, though it wasn’t long before she shared another video on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), seemingly addressing Swoll’s criticism.
In the video, she is seen posing in front of the camera while a group of people continue their workouts around her.
In the caption, she wrote: “Hello haters,” indicating that she’s not particularly fazed by the controversy or Swoll’s remarks.
