Expert Reveals The Three Gifts You Should Never Buy A Woman For Christmas
An expert has revealed the three gifts women don’t want to find under the tree on Christmas Day.
While it may be the most wonderful time of the year, it can also be the most stressful, especially when choosing presents for loved ones.
Thankfully, gift-giving expert Leah has come to the rescue and shared what items people should avoid at all costs when picking presents for women.
The gift specialist took to TikTok and said you should avoid buying three certain items unless the person specifically asks for them.
First up on Leah’s list is household cleaning supplies, as this choice ‘definitely sends the wrong message.’
She explained: “If it can be perceived as a chore, this definitely sends the wrong message. Gifts are supposed to be happy.”
Next up, Leah said weight loss supplements such as scales are an absolute no-go, especially if she’s never mentioned anything about looking to lose weight.
The TikToker commented: “This could be taken as downright offensive. And I know what you’re thinking. Who does this? According to the comments in my other videos, way more than you think.”
Leah also suggested you avoid gifting women anti-aging skincare products.
“Don’t get me wrong, I love a good skincare regimen, and I think there’s a place for that, but anti-aging specifically sends the wrong message,” the expert added.
Concluding the post, the TikToker clarified: “All of these items could definitely be considered a great gift if they are asked for, or if you know them well enough to know that they would actually like these items.”
People have taken to the comments and reacted to Leah’s video, with many in agreement with the expert.
One viewer said: “These were a whole other level.”
Another added: “Same applies to men, don’t buy them tool sets unless they ask.”
“Think for these, if you don’t know whether they’d like it just don’t buy it,” someone else suggested.
A fourth shared: “My in-laws gave me a scale when I was six weeks postpartum with my first baby. Downright offensive is accurate.”
Meanwhile, others took to the comments and disagreed with the expert.
“Do not agree on cleaning items. Money is tight for everyone, a huge box/bottle of laundry soap, dish soap, etc can be welcome,” pointed out one TikToker.
In agreement, a second said: “As a mom-of-four that stuff gets expensive I would love to get a lot of cleaning products.”
