Man Served Friends Tacos Made From His Own Amputated Leg
A man hosted a dinner party and served up an unusual meal to his friends… tacos made from his own amputated leg.
An anonymous Reddit user, who didn’t want to be ‘known as that weird cannibal guy,’ claims he and 10 friends all sat around the table and tucked into his amputated limb.
It all began when he had an accident in June 2016.
He was hit by a car while on a motorbike and went careening into a nearby forest. The crash resulted in a shattered foot.
The injury was so bad that he would never be able to walk again – the only option was for it to be amputated.

The man decided to keep his leg, so signed papers at the hospital and took it home in a red plastic biowaste bag.
Originally, he wanted the foot to be freeze-dried or taxidermied into a lamp or doorstep for around his house.
However, no taxidermist would take his request seriously, plus freeze-drying turned out to be too expensive.
So the Redditor invited over his friends and said: “Remember how we always talked about how, if we ever had the chance to ethically eat human meat, would you do it? Well, I’m calling you on that. We doing this or what? Ten said yes. I guess we’re a weird group.”

When the man brought the foot home, the group ‘picked it up and were playing with it.’
“It didn’t seem like it was a foot. It just seemed like an object, not a piece of a person. There was no emotional connection,” the man noted.
A chef in the group had the task of preparing and cooking the meat.
They decided to make human shin fajita tacos, it was then marinated overnight with ‘lime, onions, and peppers.’
The main dish was accompanied by fresh apple strudel, quiche puff pastries, and fruit tarts complemented with gin lemonade punches and mimosas.
The group sat around the table, all preparing to eat their friend’s limb.

“There was this queasy anticipation. We all looked at each other like, ‘We doing this, right? We’re doing this,'” the man recounted.
The verdict for the taco legs was that they ‘taste like buffalo, but chewier. Super beefy and a little fat.’
The man described the dinner party as a ‘bonding experience,’ adding: “We could share this unique experience together. And it was a way for me to close a lid on this part of my life.”
When asked how he felt ethically or morally before and after eating his own flesh, including his friends, the Redditor commented: “Waste not want not, and they all consented. As far as I know, they are all still cool with it. It’s a fun, weird thing.”
The United States doesn’t have a federal law banning cannibalism – the Redditor’s case of cannibalism was not only legal but ethical.
