Private Investigator Reveals ‘Number One’ Cheating Sign People Always Miss
A private investigator has revealed the ‘number one’ sign of infidelity that many people tend to overlook when suspecting their partner of cheating.
On TikTok, Cassie Crofts, known as @venusinvestigations, explained that there is a major red flag when it comes to unfaithful partners, yet it often goes unnoticed.
Crofts highlighted that those who cheat often display certain telltale behaviors to look out for in a relationship.
Many people related to the private investigator’s insights, with one person commenting: “Nailed it! Caught mine the same way.”

One of the biggest indicators, the private investigator noted, is changes in a partner’s financial habits.
She explained: “We’re basically a cashless society these days, so if your partner has always been about the tap and go, using credit cards for reward points, and suddenly they’re doing ATM withdrawals?”
Crofts emphasized that this could be a significant clue worth investigating.
“That’s a breadcrumb worth following. Cash doesn’t leave a trail. If they’re going to restaurants and spending $200, you can be pretty sure they’re not dining solo,” she continued.
“But $200 cash withdrawal? You’ve got no idea what happened.”
This revelation sparked reactions in the comments, with many people sharing their own experiences.

One person wrote: “He always withdraws cash, could never understand why, thanks for the heads up.”
Another added: “My husband is spending a lot of money at gas stations. I think gift cards for OFs.”
Others recounted their own stories, including one woman who revealed that her husband had his mistress pay for their outings to avoid raising suspicion.
“Made his mistress pay for their dates so I wouldn’t find out,” she disclosed.
Another commenter shared: “My ex is a CEO and had bundles of cash. We would go to Sydney and he would give me cash to go shopping and leave me for hours while he went ‘to the gym.'”
Similarly, someone else remarked: “100% my ex was taking out $300 a month.”

Crofts also detailed another case where a rewards card helped expose a cheating spouse.
She recounted how she assisted a client in catching her husband’s infidelity through his loyalty card transactions.
“They lived in Queensland and he was going on these trips to see his family in New South Wales pretty regularly which he never used to do,” she explained.
After inquiring whether the couple used any rewards programs, Crofts discovered a series of purchases at a store near his ex-girlfriend’s home – not in New South Wales, but in Queensland.
“Bro gave it up for a few extra reward points,” she remarked, adding humorously: “$10 off your shop but a very expensive divorce.”
Another commenter shared: “I’m not a PI but my first point of checking was the bank and where he was buying food and petrol and bingo! Ex-girlfriend who then turned into his girlfriend.”
