Walkers crisps are reportedly selling on eBay for £6-a-packet amid a supermarket shortage.
According to reports, the world’s biggest crisp factory is facing ‘technical issues’ which has led to a scarcity of multipacks, including Cheese & Onion flavoured crisps, baked ready salted, Quavers, Wotsits and French Fries.
Making the most of the opportunity, one online seller has listed tons of the Salt & Vinegar flavour on eBay, for the cost of £6.89.

Usually, a shopper would only have to cough up around £1.50 for a packet.
Elsewhere, another eBay seller is selling Walkers Salt & Vinegar Squares for £7.89.
Angry shoppers have now taken to Twitter to slam Walkers over the ‘desperate times’.
One person tweeted: “Desperate times due to crisp shortage, apparently caused by Walkers/PepsiCo IT glitch error. May sound trivial but if you live with a crisp fiend this could be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.”
Another asked: “Is anyone else just craving a crisp butty?”
“Petrol shortage results in more walkers. Crisp shortage results in less Walkers,” a third joked.
A Walkers’ spokesperson has confirmed the ‘disruption,’ however, they made no mention of when the shortage will be resolved.
The representative reportedly told Business Live: “We are currently experiencing disruption to the supply of some of our Walkers snacks products, as a result of a recent IT system upgrade.
“We’re very sorry for the inconvenience and would like to reassure everyone that we are working round the clock to increase supply.
“We’re incredibly grateful to all our colleagues in Leicester and our other sites for their hard work and dedication as we work through this issue.”
