It’s a great day for Bad Boys fans because the second trailer for Bad Boys For Life has just been released.
The hugely anticipated first trailer broke back in September and fans were immediately excited about the iconic pair of Detective Lowrey (Will Smith) and Detective Burnett (Maritn Lawrence) returning to our screens, and, if the new trailer is anything to go by then Bad Boys For Life will definitely be worth the wait.
Bad Boys For Life gets the boys together for one last ride as they embark on a mission to stop a new mercenary, whose brother the pair killed. This all happens just as Lowrey and Burnett are in the middle of their own midlife crisis, with the pair just about to retire.
In short, it’s set up perfectly for the final addition to the franchise.
The brand new trailer is peak Bad Boys as Lowrey and Burnett team up for “one last time”, complete with high speed car chases, helicopter crashes and topped off with a new badass soundtrack.

Looks pretty epic, right?
As you can imagine, plenty of Bad Boys fans are excited about the final installment of the trilogy, having had to wait 17 years for the follow up to Bad Boys II, which was released back in 2003.
Bad Boys and Bad Boys II, released in 1995 and 2003 respectively, both became huge box office hits and the original played a huge part in turning Will Smith into the Hollywood superstar he is today.
Interestingly, Michael Bay who directed the original two films is not in the director’s chair this time around. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are both behind the wheel for the final installment. It’s believed that Bay had concerns about the budget, given that both he and Smith command some of the biggest contracts in the industry.
Even without Bay involved, it’s clear the chemistry between Smith and Lawrence that fans loved so much is still evidently there. Plenty of us can’t wait to see what Lowrey and Burnett get up to in the latest and final addition to the Bad Boys franchise.
Bad Boys For Life is set for a January 2020 release by Sony Pictures.
