Amber Heard has been ordered to pay her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, $15million in damages after the jury reached a verdict in the high-profile defamation trial.
Although the Pirates of the Caribbean star sought $50million from the actress, the jury has ordered her to pay the reduced sum instead.

According to personal injury lawyer Mark Breyer, if the 36-year-old net worth is less than the amount she owes, she may have to file for bankruptcy.
Speaking before the verdict was reached, Breyer took to TikTok and explained what could potentially happen to his followers.
“You can’t get blood from a turnip,” he said. “That’s the reality. We don’t have debtors prison anymore.”
He continued: “So what’s going to happen is he [Depp] could go after all the money she had, she would probably file for bankruptcy, but certain things would be protected in bankruptcy. But the reality is that’s the problem with laws where people aren’t required to have insurance.”

Since the verdict was announced, the lawyer has been flooded with questions on his channel and has posted a series of videos in response.
Viewers of the trial took to the comments to thank the attorney for clarifying the questions they had.

Another added: “Your explanations are unmatched! Thank you for all the details!”
Making light of the situation, a third joked: “She will be making a very long call to Elon Musk today.”
