Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? viewers are reportedly raging over a recent episode that supposedly featured the ‘worst question ever’.

Glen Bunn, from Durham, appeared on the show for a second time after securing £32,000. However, the question for £64,000 left him and fans of the programme stumped.

Jeremy Clarkson asked: “From the 2000 awards ceremony onwards, the Best Actress Oscar has never been won by a woman whose surname begins with which one of these letters?”

Watch the ‘worst question ever’ being asked in the clip below…

Bunn had the choice of a) G, b) K, c) M, and d) W, but he had no idea which was the right answer.

So he decided to use his second ‘Phone a Friend’ and chose to get the help from his wife’s friend, Molly.

Unfortunately, she was also clueless as to what the answer could be.

At this point, Bunn had no other choice – he had to make a random guess. So he selected ‘G’ and, miraculously, it turned out to be right.

Although the contestant didn’t become a millionaire from his appearance on the game show, he did bag a whopping £125,000.

Clarkson congratulated Bunn as he left the set, saying: “There’s lady luck riding out the room!”

Many viewers of the show took to social media and blasted the show’s bosses for choosing to ask such a ‘tough’ question for £64,000.

One person commented: “Damn, that was tough.”

Another added: “Who comes up with these questions?”

“Questions like this where it’s hard to determine a definite answer are bad,” a third said.
