Will Smith has admitted to feeling a ‘raging jealousy’ over Jada Pinkett Smith’s relationship with Tupac.

The King Richard star opened up about his intense feelings for the late rapper in his newly-released memoir, titled ‘Will’.

In one segment, Smith acknowledged his wife’s friendship with Tupac and how they bonded over their passion for theatrical arts.

He penned: “In the beginning of our relationship, my mind was tortured by their connection.

“He was ‘PAC! and I was me… though they were never intimate, their love for each other is legendary.”

Smith went on to say that Tupac triggered memories of his younger brother, Harry, who apparently would stand up to their allegedly abusive father.

The dad-of-three wrote: “[Tupac] was like Harry.

“[He] triggered the perception of myself as a coward. … I hated that I wasn’t what he was in the world, and I suffered a raging jealousy: I wanted Jada to look at me like that.”

He continued: “If she chose me over Tupac, there was no way I could be a coward.

“I have rarely felt more validated. I was in a room with Tupac on multiple occasions, but I never spoke to him. The way Jada loved ‘Pac rendered me incapable of being friends with him. I was too immature.”

This isn’t the first time that Smith has addressed his feelings over his wife’s relationship with Tupac.

In an interview with The Breakfast Club, the actor acknowledged the struggle about ‘interacting’ with the musician.

He explained: “I could never open up to interact with Pac.

“You know, because we had a little bit of a thing. You know, they grew up together and they loved each other, but they never had … a sexual relationship.”

Reportedly, Pinkett Smith revealed in 2017 that she and Tupac were not speaking at the time of his tragic death.

Supposedly, the pair got into a ‘hardcore’ fight.
