A woman called out a ‘misogynistic’ guy she went on a date with, and he responded by mocking her job.
Haley Hyde took to TikTok to show the conversation she had with the man, named ‘Trace,’ on her phone, in which he said she used ‘big words for a barista’.
The video, which has been viewed over 1.4million times, begins with Hyde explaining they had met up the night before and she found him ‘disrespectful’.

She says: “Went on a first date last night, was disrespected the whole time. Told him it wasn’t going to work out.”
The young girl then shares a video of their conversation over text. He told her ‘It’s cool’ that it won’t work out but asks ‘why?’
She replies: “You were being super misogynistic, and I know you weren’t doing it on purpose but that sh***s not charming or funny anymore and hasn’t been for a long time.”
He then asked what ‘misogynistic’ means before saying: “You use big words for a barista.”
Hyde fired back: “See this is exactly what I mean. You can’t expect to get anywhere with a girl if you’re going to talk down to them and tell them you’re sending them to cooking school.”
The guy then turns nasty, saying: “I’m not the one missing out so I’m good with it… hopefully the next looks as good as the pics and has a personality.
“I thought about dropping you off before we got the dinner but gave you a chance.
“You’re welcome for spending more than you have in your checking. Women need to know their role.”
Unsurprisingly, the comment led to the TikToker sending a sassy reply.
She said: “You’re a sexist piece of s*** dude. The way you talk is disgusting and you can’t handle rejection. It’s sad.”
Hyde’s followers took to the comments to share their thoughts on the video, with one writing: “This physically hurt me to read that. Trace baby never speak again.”
Another added: “The fact he’s trying to degrade you for being a barista when he didn’t know what misogynistic means, talking to a wall would make more sense.”
