Woman Sparks Debate After Becoming A Disney World Babysitter

A woman has sparked a debate among parents after becoming a Disney World babysitter. 

Cyan Nardiello, 22, has gone viral on TikTok after sharing videos of her unusual job, which involves being a childcare minder at the popular family theme park.

She’s now turned it into a company called Once Upon a Nanny and charges $25 an hour.

However, Nardiello’s job has sparked a debate with some TikTokers, who argue parents shouldn’t hire a nanny at a family-oriented site.

Taking to the comments on one of her videos, one said: “This kinda makes me sad because Disney is magical and parents should take their kids there to enjoy family time and see their kids happy not just send them.

“They can go, it teaches them it’s a casual thing to do and takes away the magic and special moments.”

Another added: “What in the ‘I’m too rich to play with my kids so I send them to Disney with a nanny’ is this?”

“Imagine your parents having to hire a nanny to take you to Disney World because they don’t want to/are too busy,” a third pitched in. “How sad.”

A fourth agreed, writing: “Isn’t the point to spend time with your kids at Disney? Interesting that people let others enjoy the magic with their kids.”

In response to one of the negative comments, Nardiello wrote: “Seeing their eyes light up on the rides, hearing their giggles, watching them be starstruck over the characters assures me that the magic is alive!”

Others have agreed with the nanny that it’s a ‘wonderful’ idea and sounds like a ‘dream job’.

“So proud of you! Definitely got a dream job and you are killing it,’ one commented.

In agreement, a second said: “Literal dream job, that’s such a smart idea.”
