A woman has taken to social media and blasted Disneyland staff after being ‘ordered to remove costume makeup’.

The TikToker, who goes by the username @booogeymxn1, has shared a clip of herself dressed up as Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas while visiting the theme park.

Sarcastically, she captioned the post: “Happiest place on Earth, right?”

In the video itself, she claimed: “Disneyland makes me remove all of my makeup.”

She then added that she had been told to ‘remove’ the makeup in the bathroom so she could remain at the theme park.

The clip has since accumulated nearly 900,000 views and hundreds have taken to the comments to say it’s fair, as it’s the ‘rules’.

One viewer said: “Uh yeah, clear rules and guidelines. You can’t just show up in costume, let alone full makeup.”

Another added: “Oh no! It’s a rule that protects children so they don’t go running up to a random adult, thinking they’re their favourite character.”

“This is not a new rule,” a third agreed. “Disney Parks only allow adults to wear costumes during the Halloween parties. This is so that kids don’t mistake you for a cast member and run up to you for hugs/autographs/pictures.

“This is not a ridiculous rule, it’s to keep kids safe from strangers.”

Pitching in, a fourth said: “She’s really complaining about a rule that has been there for years lol.”

However, the woman uploaded a follow-up video in which she explained why she had ‘no idea’.

Showing screenshots of Disneyland’s terms and conditions, she claimed that there was ‘zero’ information about costumes and face paint.
