A woman who ‘spent £180 on a doughnut wedding cake’ was left gobsmacked when it turned up looking nothing like the picture.
The TikToker, who goes by the username @just.a.sara, has gone viral after sharing clips about her special day and how she wanted a masterpiece three-tier cake with a twist.
In one video, she said: “She [the cake lady] was supposed to be there at 3.30pm, my ceremony was at 4pm and then everyone was in the reception area at 4.30pm.

“So the cake was supposed to be on the stage, so if she turned up when she was supposed to she would’ve had an hour to set up the cake – but that is not what happened.”
The TikToker went on to explain how it got to 3:30pm and the woman wouldn’t answer her phone, as she ‘knew she was so late’.
She continued: “What ended up happening was that at 5 o’clock, everyone was seated and had eaten half their dinner, and all of a sudden she’s whipping in.
“She was so late that my bridesmaids had a plan to go to Walmart and get a cheesecake to cut because we had these little jars to put money in to see who would get the cake smeared in their face.”
The woman recalled how the cake lady turned up wearing trousers and Crocs and appeared to be fixing the cake in front of the wedding guests.
The TikToker explained that the cake was ‘broken,’ saying: “It turns out the three-tier thing she had was broken, she had the wrong type of doughnuts, and she was so late.
“Luckily, the venue had a platter and my maid of honour and sister went out and set up this little cake thing which is like all we had. It was a mess.”

After hearing of the woman’s wedding disaster, hundreds took to the comments and slammed the end result.
One viewer commented: “I’m sorry but compared to what you were wanting it looks like she bought these doughnuts from Walmart.”
Another added: “This just makes me so sad that this happened to you and your husband on y’alls special day.”
“What in the gas station doughnuts,” a third joked.
In a follow-up, the TikToker said that the cake lady did provide her with a refund… Rightfully so!
