A woman has reportedly had a severe allergic reaction after getting her lip fillers dissolved.
Lauren Faulkner, who has over 22,000 TikTok followers, planned to document the before and after of the treatment for her followers, but it all went horribly wrong.
It all started when the aesthetician – who is also a registered nurse – gave the woman two injections to help dissolve her lips.

Faulker recalled: “This is where I knew something wasn’t right!
“Two minutes later, my body was covered in hives, I thought I was going to faint.
“My throat started to close and I was struggling to breathe.”
Luckily, the aesthetician realised that something wasn’t right and she immediately called 999.
As the minutes passed, Faulker’s lips and the surrounding area began to swell.
The TikToker said: “I’ve had my lips done before at the same place with the same product and there was no reaction!”
She added: “This is your sign to always make sure your lip tech is medically trained for these situations!
“I was so lucky as this could have been a lot worse.”

Faulkner’s video has been viewed over 1.3million times and thousands have taken to the comments to say how shocking it was to see.
One person commented: “I’m glad you’re okay but my God, I was crying at the swelling.”
Another added: “Girl, I think it’s a sign from the gods to avoid all fillers for a bit.”
“It’s so common for girls to be allergic to the dissolvant,” a third person wrote. “My lip lady is also a nurse and she avoids it at all costs!”
