A woman was left feeling ‘mortified’ after sending her personal trainer progress photo.

Gemma Hill, who is a radio presenter at West Heart Midlands, was told to take a ‘before’ photo by her instructor so she would be able to see how far she’d come.

However, the mum didn’t realise that he simply meant she should keep the photo for her own benefit, and so she sent it over to him.

Awkwardly, he then opened the message when he was having his dinner with his wife, who began ‘quizzing’ him over the photo of Gemma in her bra and knickers.

In the TikTok video, the presenter recalled: “I got a PT and he told me to take ‘before’ photos in my underwear.

“He said, ‘Don’t [breathe] in, no good angles, just be honest’.

“So I took photos in my bra and pants and sent them to him.”

In the clip, Gemma also included screenshots of the conversation between herself and the instructor.

One of the messages shows the mum simply stood in her underwear.

Keeping it light-hearted, the instructor included some laughing emojis and responded: “Hey, sorry Gem I meant to take photos for yourself not to send to me. So you can check out your progress.”

Embarrassed, Gemma replied back: “OMG I’m so sorry. What a t*** I thought I was meant to send them to you. How embarrassing. I’m so sorry.”

Lol no I don’t ask clients to send me pictures in underwear,” he explained. “I was eating dinner with my girl she’s quizzing me who is this chick…”

So far, the video has been viewed over 135,000 times and has received thousands of likes, with many viewers reassuring the mum that anyone could have made that ‘mistake’.

One person wrote: “Honest mistake and good man for clarifying!”

Another added: “A common mistake. Good luck with your next PT session!”

“Don’t worry, I probably would have done the same,” a third commented. “I would have assumed the PT had a before and after board or website!”
