A woman couldn’t believe it when she heard her boyfriend make a cruel remark to his friend through her doorbell camera. After sharing the awkward moment onto TikTok, she was then encouraged to break up with the guy after his comment.
Colbi Carlson took to TikTok after hearing her boyfriend make a cruel remark through the doorbell camera, and was urged by her followers to break up with him after they were also left outraged by his comment.
On the post, that she shared over the festive holidays, she wrote: “Merry Christmas to me :(.”
She then explained: “As my boyfriend was leaving my house last night I heard him say something I wish I didn’t…”
In the TikTok video, a man can be seen leaving Colbi’s home alongside a friend. Turning to the friend, he says: “You know what I want for Christmas? A new girlfriend.”
One viewer joked: “Help the process by making him available for one.”
Another blasted the guy, saying: “Send it to him, be like ‘good luck with that Christmas wish’.”
While a third asked: “You mean your ex boyfriend right?”

The clip ended up being viewed by a whopping 31 million TikTokers and was liked by an impressive 5.1 million.
After her boyfriend received so much backlash and many encouraged her to dump him, she uploaded another video in which she defended him.
Colbi said: “In regards to my last video, that was a complete joke.
“I actually accidentally told him that he was a downgrade, so he said that back as a joke and apologised.
“Like I was laughing, that picture of me crying was for something stupid from months ago.
“Sorry for the confusion and hate, I appreciate the support if that was actually to happen.”
Many of her followers were relieved by the explanation as to why her boyfriend would make such a comment, with one responding: “Good girl, I was ready to come find him for you.”
Yet others were less forgiving with Colbi and didn’t see the funny side of the clip.
One questioned: “How is that a joke, I’m confused.”
A second said: “How do you ‘accidentally’ tell your boyfriend that he’s a downgrade?”
