A woman has claimed that she was sent ‘creepy’ messages by an NHS Test and Trace worker who managed to find her Instagram account.
The unnamed student, aged 22, has alleged that she was initially contacted to see if she was self-isolating by a handler but then they started acting ‘weird’.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, she explained: “This man acted in a predatory manner and has gone out of his way to track me down and send me creepy messages through my private Instagram page.”

The student said the incident has left her feeling anxious, as the handler will also have access to her home address.
She continued: “Someone like that should not be working for NHS Test and Trace, where they can access such sensitive personal data… there was the possibility that his online stalking could progress to physical stalking.”
According to the 22-year-old, he contacted her on social media and said: “Gonna sound weird, but spoke to you through the NHS.”
He also told her she was ‘pretty’ and ‘cool’.
Following the student’s allegations, the Department of Health and Social Care has stated that an investigation will be underway soon and if appropriate, staff will be suspended.
A spokesperson commented: “NHS Test and Trace is committed to protecting the personal data and safety of people they contact.”
Speaking of the NHS, an anti-vax nurse, who has compared the free healthcare service to the Nazis, has recently been struck off.
The woman allegedly shared misinformation about Covid-19 in July of last year, which resulted in her social media accounts being suspended.
It’s now been determined that woman’s misconduct was so serious that she has been removed from the nursing register permanently.
