Woman Says We’ve Been Closing Cereal Boxes Wrong Our Entire Lives

Cereal Boxes

A woman says we’ve been closing cereal boxes wrong our entire lives.

Becky Holden McGhee, from Blackpool, took to Facebook to share her clever hack.

In the post, she said you can transform the top of the cereal boxes into interlocking pyramids. By doing this, you’ll never have dry, stale cornflakes again.

The woman captioned the post: “Had to share this!!!

“It’s only taken me 40 years, but I now know the correct way to close a cereal box. Genius.

“It takes seconds, no more dried up cereal and ugly torn boxes to greet me every morning.”

Becky also added a series of photos to explain what she meant, which show just how much more satisfying it looks.

To try it out for yourself, all you need to do is fold three of the open flaps at the top of the box back into the centre. Next, squeeze two of the long sides together.

Finally, fold down the fourth and final flap to seal it up.

Enthused by the woman’s meticulous folding skills, one person wrote: “This has made my day, I’m going to sort mine now.”

Another added: “So going to do this in a minute. I’m useless at boxes can never shut a happy meal again once it’s open!!”

A third simply said: “Life-changing.”
