A woman accidentally turned herself into ‘The Mask’ just hours before she had to attend a job interview.

TikTok user @trippitreat decided to use a green-coloured chlorophyll face mask in order to combat some redness she was experiencing.

However, she was left mortified when she quickly realized it wasn’t going to be easy to remove.

She captioned the post: “Job interview at Bank of America tomorrow, does anyone have any ideas on how I can get this off. Exfoliating did barely anything, I’m still green #help.”

In the clip, she then explained: “I just saw so many TikToks about chlorophyll and people saying it’s just good for so many things.

“And I have issues with my skin, so maybe putting on chlorophyll on it will work. I looked it up and it says you just have to rub it in your skin a little bit as it can make your face kind of green.

“But when you rub it in, it will go away and I’m just having a difficult time rubbing it in.”

The social media user then showed off her green fingers, before adding: “So I just want to say I’m trying to rub it off right now, these are my fingers and it won’t come off.”

In the next shot, the woman showed her several attempts at removing the face mask, which left were viewers in hysterics.

One person commented: “I think you were supposed to mix it in something…”

Another added: “Just go into the interview in full cosplay/character of The Mask.”

“You definitely tuned down any redness,” a third joked.

However, some TikTokers were slightly more helpful and tried to help remedy the situation.

A viewer suggested: “Try vegetable or dish soap! Both of these work to get hair dye off.”
