The ‘world’s hairiest woman’ has started shaving her face and stunning new photos have revealed she’s found love.

Supatra ‘Natty’ Sasuphan, from Bangkok, Thailand, was named the ‘hairiest girl in the world’ by Guinness World Records in 2010.

She had thick hair growing over her face, ears, arms, legs and back.

But now, it’s been revealed Natty has undergone a transformation and she’s shown off her new romance on social media.

Natty, who is believed to be 23 years old, suffers from the extremely rare Ambras syndrome, otherwise known as ‘Werewolf Syndrome’.

It can involve the entire body being covered in hair or is restricted to specific areas, reports The Trichological Society.

It’s estimated that around 50 people have suffered from the genetic condition since the Middle Ages, according to the Mirror.

There is no treatment for the syndrome so patients usually choose to shave, pluck or have hair removed by electronic methods.

For Natty, laser treatment failed to stop the hair growth.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, her father said: “A doctor told us the only way to treat her is with laser treatment. Apart from that, all we could do is shave her.

“We tried laser treatment but it left her with green marks around her eyes, red eyes and a swollen face.”

Natty previously told Guinness World Records that her hair makes her feel ‘special’ and she no longer is teased and called ‘monkey face’ by others.

She said: “I’m very used to this condition. I can’t feel the hair as it has always been like this. I don’t feel anything. It does sometimes make it difficult to see when it gets long. I hope I will be cured one day.”

Little updates have been provided on what Natty has been up to in recent years. However, Metro reported in 2018 that she was married.

She showed off her hair-free face on social media in loved-up photos with her unnamed husband.

In one social media post, Natty wrote (per Yahoo): “You’re not just my first lover, you’re the love of my life.”

It appears the pair are no longer together – the reason for their separation remains unclear.

Natty’s father explained that she had not been cured and had simply started shaving her face.

However, it now appears she has a new partner and the heartwarming snaps are going viral.

Natty’s Facebook profile shows she is in a ‘domestic partnership’ with Suchada Poonlumpao.

The loved-up couple often take to the social media platform and share sweet photos.

After hearing Natty has found happiness, people have taken to Facebook and congratulated her, with one person writing: “Happy for her.”

Another adds: “I am glad she found happiness.”
