Audrey Chawner, a beloved X Factor star, has been confirmed dead by her daughter.
Emma Chawner, whose X Factor auditions were amongst some of the most infamous, has sadly announced the death of her mother, Audrey.
Audrey offered her support to Emma from outside the audition room.
Alongside being a part of her daughter’s brief stint on The X Factor, Audrey had also made TV appearances on The Jeremy Kyle Show and Lorraine Kelly’s Big Fat Challenge.
The Chawner family further starred on Nightmare Neighbour in 2016, following over 500 complaints from their nearby residents in Greater Manchester.
This week, Emma took to Instagram to announce the tragic news of her mother’s passing aged 73.

She shared an adorable tribute to her mum, who became a TV icon after her appearance on the music competition show.
“RIP my beautiful amazing mum,” Emma penned on her Instagram. “I’m just letting you all know my mum passed peacefully in her sleep at 4am this morning.”
Emma was flooded with sweet responses to her tribute post.
One person wrote: “I am so sorry for your loss.”
Another added: “I am so sorry for your loss Emma. Sending you all lots of love!”
While a third agreed: “Sorry to hear your sad news, Emma. Love to all your family at this sad time xx.”

Following the news, Emma has set up a GoFundMe to help cover her mum’s funeral costs.
She explains she doesn’t earn much money and had blown through her savings going to and from the hospital to visit her mum.
She writes: “My name is Emma Chawner and the reason I have done a GoFundMe page is that my mum passed away on Monday the 15th.
“She died peacefully in her sleep in hospital.
“My mum was lovely, caring, respectful lady and I miss her so much so I would appreciate any help towards her funeral, because at time it’s really hard for me and my dad to pay for it, and I really want my mum to have a good send off.
“Any amount of money would be greatly appreciated thank you all so much.”

Fans and friends offered money and further condolences to the Chawner family, with one writing: “Take care, Emma. I’m sorry to hear about your mum.
“Make sure you look into a Funeral Expenses Payment – you can find the info through the website. It’ll help towards a lot of the costs. It’ll be a big help to you all.”
To make this time even harder for Emma, she has also revealed to The Sun that she has suffered another loss.
She told the outlet: “My dog also passed on Tuesday at 11am, and mum died on Monday. I said that night ‘mum if you can hear me take Ruby with you’.
“She was a lovely lady – loved her TV programmes, loved her animals and loved a good laugh.
“Her favourite TV programmes were Emmerdale and EastEnders.”
