You can combine your love for roast dinners with your love for beers as the two have now been combined to make the ultimate alcoholic beverage.
The Northern Monk Brewery has launched the world’s first Roast Dinner Brown Ale which has actually been brewed with real potatoes and Yorkshire puddings!
Teaming up with Aunt Bessie’s, the brewery has created two new flavours of beer: Crisp & Fluffy Roasties and Original Golden Yorkshires. It’s going to be a difficult decision which to try first.
Over the period of a few months, the two companies have been working together to decide when the best time was to introduce these two unusual new flavours. As everyone is stuck in due to lockdown, now is the perfect time to become a bit of a beer connoisseur!
Northern Monk is known for its Faith Pale Ale or its Eternal IPA, yet this new flavour is certainly for those with an acquired taste.
Since being announced, the new beer flavours have had a mixed response from followers.
One person said: “It would appear quarantine has sent you mad!!! I like it and I’m heading straight to your web shop to indulge in this madness!”
Someone commented: “This makes my northern bones quiver.”
Whilst one stated: “What the actual?”
If you have more of a sweet tooth but still love a beer, than why don’t you try their Jam & Custard Pale Ale, which is based on Aunt Bessie’s iconic Jam Roly Poly.
