The hit Netflix series has been a huge success for the streaming service, with season three scoring a near-perfect 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Well, the new trailer has come out and it seems fans won’t have to wait too long.

Watch the trailer for You season four below…

It follows Joe and his move to London as he tries to lay low and stay out of trouble… and as usual, fails.

While in unfamiliar territory, the serial killer hears the news of a string of murders among the capital’s elite starting to happen and it looks like Joe could be their next target.

Determined to unravel the mystery, Joe is shown saying: “I just want my little European holiday back.”

The fourth season of You will be released in two parts, with part one dropping on February 9 and part two coming out one month later on March 9.

The creator of the show, Sara Gamble, previously shared a photo on Instagram teasing fans that the mid-season break is necessary, as ‘you’ll need time to process’ what is going to happen.

It has become a recent trend for popular TV series to have a midseason break.

Programmes such as Stranger Things, The Walking Dead, and Better Call Saul have recently utilised this trope.

It gives fans more time to discuss what has already happened, while also building suspension and anticipation for the second part.

Details about the series have largely been kept under wraps, apart from it being known Joe will be going under the fake identity Jonathan Moore while working as a university professor.

A brief teaser for the show was previously shared during Netflix’s TUDUM event.

In the footage, Joe told viewers that he is looking to ‘bury his past’ and is ‘focusing on academia’.

He narrates: “Allow me to introduce myself.

“I’ve gone through a bit of refinement upon crossing the pond. And living in London has allowed me to bury the past if you will.

“Gone are the days of unrequited love and longing.

“This time around I’m focusing on academia and instruction while keeping my typical extracurricular activities strictly professional.”

You season four part one will drop on Netflix on February 9 and part two will come out on March 9.
