A second Love Island contestant has made a shock exit from the ITV show.
According to The Sun, model Zach Hartman has decided to pull out from the programme following ‘long conversations’ with his family.
He reportedly said: “I was meant to be going on Love Island this year and flying out this week. After long conversations with my family and thinking about what I wanted out of my career, I decided against it.”
Hartman went on to make a savage dig at the fellow male contestants, supposedly remarking: “Would’ve been an easy year to wins seeing as none of the guys has any game on there. But I’ve got to do what’s best for me.”
Last week, Liam Llewellyn also made the decision to quit the programme.
When telling his fellow Islander the news, the Welsh student said: “Obviously we all came here for the same sort of reason, but I haven’t been giving 100 percent Liam. I know what 100 percent Liam is and I’m miles off that.
“Trying to find someone you leave the villa with that you love, that’s the goal. But when you’re not feeling that, it makes it a very hard sort of time to find that. I’ve been thinking long and hard, it isn’t spur of the moment, so I’ve made a decision to leave the villa.”
Previously, Llewellyn mentioned that rejection would be difficult for him to deal with.
Referencing his time on the show, he said: “Something I am most nervous about is probably the feeling of not being wanted in a recoupling or something, not being picked.”
At the time, Love Island fans took to Twitter and said they were ‘gutted’.
One tweeted: “He looked awkward as f*** on those two dates and has probably realised just how far out of his comfort zone he is.”
“Gutted Liam has left the villa,” another added. “But he clearly didn’t fit in with everyone, poor lad.”
