 Zoë Kravitz has admitted that she regrets calling out Will Smith after his infamous Oscars slap on Chris Rock

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, The Batman star said: “I’m torn about what to say right now, because I’m supposed to just talk about it; I have very complicated feelings around it. 

“I wish I had handled that differently. And that’s okay.”

It has been five months since the infamous slap, and Kravitz feels it is the wrong time to be outspoken.

She commented: “It’s a scary time to have an opinion or to say the wrong thing or to make controversial art or statements or thoughts or anything.”

Kravitz, at the time of the incident, uploaded two now-deleted posts on Instagram that caused her to receive a backlash.

The first picture was a photo of her before the awards ceremony with the caption: “Here’s a picture of my dress at the award show where we are apparently assaulting people on stage now.”

Her second post featured herself at the after party, which included the statement: “And here is a picture of my dress at the party after the award show – where we are apparently screaming profanities and assaulting people on stage now.”

Fans of Smith were quick to attack the actress on social media.
