50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, seems to have big plans for the new year.
The ‘Candy Shop’ rapper, 48, wants 2024 to be his biggest year yet, and he’s setting goals and working towards them.
However, there’s one area of his life that is actually slowing to a standstill.
50 Cent has confirmed he’s taking a vow of abstinence – and revealed the rather unusual reason why…

You probably best know the Grammy award-winning rapper due to his major hits including ‘In da Club’ and ‘Just A Lit Bit’, which have made the hip-hop star a household name.
50 Cent has also found success on the small screen with his TV series Power, which has been well-received by viewers and critics alike.
But the Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ star has been similarly successful in his personal life.
Over the years, he’s been quite the casanova, with many high-profile relationships under his belt.
Whilst in the limelight, he’s been linked to actress Meagan Good, Vivica A. Fox, Joy Bryant, Chelsea Handler, Daphne Joy, and Ciara… to name but a few!
Most recently, he was in a relationship with model Jamira Haines, AKA Cuban Link, although rumours have been flying recently that they’ve split, as per Urban Islandz.
The couple (who have a twenty-year age gap) had been linked since 2019, with the pair even sparking relationship rumours after Haines was spotted sporting a diamond ring.

50 Cent has taken to Instagram to share he’s taken a vow of abstinence.
He writes: “My new idea is so big, I don’t have time to be distracted I’m practising abstinence, I have been meditating and focusing on my goals. I hope this New Year helps you excel to the next level.”
