Phoenix Gray is a writer and activist who explores disability, race, gender and body positivity in their work. They share candid reflections on identity and lived experience with a growing online community on Instagram’s Threads at @locdblackswan. A Cambridge University English graduate, their work has been published by HuffPost and Black Girl Dangerous. Phoenix previously received a Special Mention for poetry committed to social change in the Benjamin Zephaniah Poetry Competition and was shortlisted for Stormzy and Penguin Random House’s inaugural Murky Books New Writers Prize.
