Tragedy has struck Barack Obama’s family as they mourn the loss of their beloved personal chef, Tafari Campbell.
The 45-year-old chef once worked at the White House during Barack Obama’s presidential tenure.
Campbell became an integral part of the former president’s family, even after Barack’s term ended in 2016.
Sadly, it has been revealed that the chef has died in tragic circumstances.

Hailing Campbell’s exceptional talent in the kitchen and his warm personality, the Obamas released a heartfelt statement on Monday, reminiscing about the first time they met him as a skilled sous chef at the White House.
Barack and Michelle Obama said: “Tafari was a beloved part of our family.
“When we first met him, he was a talented sous chef at the White House – creative and passionate about food, and its ability to bring people together.
“In the years that followed, we got to know him as a warm, fun, extraordinarily kind person who made all of our lives a little brighter.”
According to Reuters, a devastating accident occurred during Campbell’s visit to Martha’s Vineyard from his home in Virginia on Sunday.
While paddleboarding in the waters of Edgartown Great Pond, he went missing and a search was initiated.
A fellow paddleboarder, who was with him at the time, reportedly witnessed Campbell struggle briefly to stay on the surface before submerging and not resurfacing.
The Obama family was not present at the Massachusetts home during the accident.
The heartbreaking news of Campbell’s demise was confirmed on Monday when his drowned body was found approximately 100 feet from shore, submerged at a depth of about eight feet.
Authorities from the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death, but it is believed to have been a tragic accident.

During his tenure at the White House, Campbell contributed significantly to creating some of the most famous presidential recipes, including a special beer brewed from ingredients grown at the White House.
When the time came for the first family to leave Washington, they could not bear to part ways with Campbell.
They extended a heartfelt invitation for him to join them, and he graciously accepted, becoming an inseparable part of their lives ever since.
As news of this sorrowful event spreads, an outpouring of condolences and sympathies for the grieving family continues to emerge.
Campbell leaves behind a loving wife, Sherise, and their twin boys, Xavier and Savin.
