‘Milkshake’ singer Kelis, 43, and actor Bill Murray, 72, are reportedly dating following the death of her husband.
Fans have been pretty surprised to learn of this unexpected relationship – since the Groundhog Day star is nearly 30 years older than she is.
That’s not to say it won’t work out, though, as the likes of Robert De Niro and Emmanuel Macron will attest – maybe just don’t ask Leonardo DiCaprio.

The Ghostbusters star and musician have apparently formed an unlikely bond – and have been seen together at several of Kelis’s recent performances.
According to The Sun, rumours surrounding the couple began to circulate after Murray was spotted attending Kelis’s performance at the Mighty Hoopla festival in Brockwell Park, South London.
The two even posed for a photo backstage, fueling speculation about their relationship.
Sources cited by the publication claim that the pair had been spending time together both in the US and now in London, where they were seen at the same hotel.

The insider further revealed that Murray and Kelis had developed a close connection, possibly due to shared recent experiences of loss.
The source said: “They’ve met up in the US before which got people in the industry talking, and now are meeting up in London while they’re both here. They’ve clearly hit it off.
“They were both seen at the same hotel, and he’s been to watch her perform several times before he went to Mighty Hoopla.
“But they’ve also both shared relatively recent bereavements and have that common bond between them.
“Whatever it is that has brought them together, and however unlikely it seems, they are both single and are having fun despite the fairly big age gap.”

For Kelis, whose full name is Kelis Rogers, this rumoured romance marks her first public relationship following the loss of her husband, Mike Mora, in 2022.
Mora tragically passed away at the age of 37 after battling stage four stomach cancer.
Kelis has spoken about her grief and the lessons it has taught her about cherishing time and appreciating people.
The ‘Trick Me’ singer told Revolt: “It doesn’t change the fact that I’m heartbroken. But it does change how I choose to approach it.
“It reminds you how short time is and how we don’t have any control.
“I want to control what I can control – how I treat the people around me.
“I’m really big on celebrating people when they’re here. I don’t feel like it’s as useful when they’re gone.”
Similarly, Bill Murray experienced the loss of his estranged wife, Jennifer Butler, in 2021.

Although the couple had filed for divorce in 2008, they reportedly maintained contact until her passing two years ago.

As news of their rumoured relationship spreads, fans and industry insiders alike are taken aback by the unexpected pairing of the iconic actor and talented musician.
Nevertheless, both Kelis and Murray are currently single and seem to be finding solace and enjoyment in each other’s company.
They also appear to have no issue with the notable age difference that sets them apart, so, maybe, neither should anyone else.
