Brad Pitt once bid $120k for a night with Emilia Clarke.
Pitt, 59, is one of Hollywood’s biggest stars and is known for films such as Fight Club, Bullet Train and Seven.
While the Game of Thrones star, 36, is one of the most recognisable celebrities in the world after a star-making performance as Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO series.
She has also appeared in hit movies such as Solo: A Star Wars Story, Me Before You and Last Christmas – which has led to her having a legion of fans.
This includes none other than Pitt, who once went to extreme lengths to secure a meeting with Clarke.

Clarke revealed how she got asked to take part in a silent auction – hosted by Sean Penn – during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show.
She recalled: “There was this auction thing that happened.
“They called me and were like do you want to auction something off like an experience… like watching the show [GOT] with you.”
The Terminator: Genysis actress said how she was nervous, but felt even worse after she realised that auction was a star-studded event that she described as looking like the ‘Oscars’.
Clarke continued: “I suddenly remember that I’d said I’d auction something off, so the fear grows.
“I was petrified, absolutely petrified.”

In order to calm her nerves, the actress asked her friend – who was sitting with her at the table – to bid for her so she could avoid embarrassment.
However, this plan soon backfired as her friend soon became part of a bidding war with a mysterious stranger across the room.
Clarke added: “I was like thanks very much, it’s very sweet and then someone else’s paddle went up on the other side of the room.
“I didn’t really know and suddenly, it was becoming a bit of money a bit of money.
“I was thinking this is mental and then someone else said, it’s Brad Pitt and then I went ‘lol’.
“And then I look over to the room and Brad has his paddle up.”
According to Vanity Fair, the Fight Club star initially offered $80,000 (£63k) to watch Game of Thrones with Clarke.
The bidding war continued when Pitt then upped his offer to $90k (£71k) and then an eye-watering $120,0000 (£94k).
Unfortunately for Clarke, her friend ended up winning the highest bid and she never got to spend the night with the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star.

Fans of the show have reacted to the Above Suspicion actress’ story.
One person says: “When you would pay 120k for one evening with Emilia and other people still are willing to pay more.”
Someone else writes: “She is so nice, humble, genuine, open-minded and beautiful. No wonder Brad Pitt bid that much amount of money.”
“I wouldn’t blame Brad. I would bid my life for a minute with Emilia Clarke,” pens another fan.
