On Father’s Day, his daughter Rumer Willis, 34, shared a touching photograph of her father, Willis, with her own daughter, Louetta Isley.
She expressed that this memory would be cherished for a lifetime.
The image captures a heartwarming moment as Willis, for the first time, cradles his eight-week-old granddaughter, Louetta.

In an accompanying post, Rumer shared her emotions, writing: “Fathers to the old and new.
“Seeing my father hold my daughter today was something I will treasure for the rest of my life.
“His sweetness and love for her was so pure and beautiful.”
She went on to address her father affectionately, expressing her gratitude for his presence in their lives.

Rumer considered herself fortunate to have such a loving father, acknowledging him as the best ‘Girl Dad’ in the game.
Compounding his aphasia diagnosis in 2022, Willis also received a diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia (FTD).
The family announced his condition and stated that he would be stepping away from acting.
The recent confirmation of frontotemporal dementia provides clarity on Willis’ situation, although it brings with it challenges beyond communication difficulties.

She wrote: “Since we announced Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, Bruce’s condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD).
“Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces. While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis.”
