Carol Vorderman has explained how she dates five male partners at the same time.
Vorderman, 62, is a TV personality who is best known for hosting Countdown from 1982 to 2008.
She’s been married twice, having tied the knot with Christopher Mather in 1985 and Patrick King in 1990. She also shares two children with King.
In recent years, the ex-Loose Women panellist has been an open book when it comes to her love life, having divulged that she has multiple lovers.
But Vorderman is now being more candid than ever, as she’s finally opened up about what it’s like having five partners at once.

She told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning that when she was younger, she had very different expectations when it came to her love life.
“When I was in my 20s I wanted to get married and have children. In my 60s I have a full life and I live with my children,” she says.
“I don’t want to settle with anybody, I love my job, the business of education, a busy home.
“People don’t want just one partner, we’re all single.”
She adds that there’s only ‘one rule’ and it’s simply ‘do no harm’.

Vorderman continues: “‘Societies rules were very different and if a woman had a child without being married it was awful.
“I went to Cambridge [University] at 17 and my mum sat me down and told me I need to think about settling down to get married.
“I think age 50 plus you have to think do you want another man to live with you or do you want the nice bits.”

Vorderman then says that it’s all happened ‘naturally’ and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
“It’s come about naturally and I don’t want to settle with anyone,” she explains.
“Everyone is single. It starts with friendship and there is an extra frisson.”
When asked whether her partners get jealous of her other relationships, she replies: “They have their lives as well, I never ask about that.”
This isn’t the first time that Vorderman has discussed her ‘special friends’.
On Zoe Ball’s breakfast show, the TV personality reveals that she is ’empowered’ by her lifestyle.

“I do all the things I want to do and I don’t want to have one single person in there.”
