Ariana Grande’s Friend Shares Sad Health Update And Fans Are Left Heartbroken
Ariana Grande’s friend has issued a sad health update about the star and fans have been left devastated.
It’s safe to say that the marketing machine behind Wicked has been one of the greatest of our time.
The marketing team have been one of the many driving forces behind the film‘s success, and it wouldn’t be surprising to learn that the cast are tired.
A friend of Grande’s, who plays good witch Glinda in the blockbuster, revealed that the star is ‘not in a healthy place’ following the release of the second film, Wicked: For Good.

Wicked: For Good had multiple major premieres as part of its world tour, with significant events in São Paulo (Nov 4), Paris (Nov 7), London (Nov 10), Singapore (Nov 13), and New York City (Nov 17).
And with the film up for numerous awards, the cast appearances are not slowing down any time soon.
Grande, 32, has been encouraged to lean on her protective ‘support system’ during the busy time, which includes her co-star Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba.
There has been much speculation about Grande throughout the press tour, with many fans sharing their concerns.
Many have noted that she has lost a considerable amount of weight since starring in Wicked.

But not just her, other stars in the film, including Erivo, and Michelle Yeoh, who plays Madame Morrible.
One user on X (formerly Twitter) said: “The cast of Wicked is so painfully thin that even the young girls watching the show are noticing it, and they’re discussing the thinness in schools.
“This is why we can’t just ignore how emaciated actresses are getting. Kids need to understand it’s not aspirational. It’s unhealthy.”
Another added: “Nah why has everyone in Wicked lost so much weight? Are they all ok? Like it’s worrying.”
Grande has taken a large proportion of the online hate, and recently shared an old interview where she encouraged people to be kind.
A source has even stated that Erivo is prepared to ‘take on any media requirements’ for Wicked leading up to awards season in the new year.
Ariana’s friend speaks out
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Grande’s friend said: “It’s bothered her a lot – from the red carpet incident [in which a man rushed her] to what people were saying about her online.
“She can be very thin-skinned, and people commenting on how skinny she is was really troubling to her.”
It’s also known that the star has battled PTSD following the terrorist bombing at her concert in Manchester in 2017 that left 22 people dead.
A family member has also spoken out, adding: “She’s not in a healthy place and she knows it.
“Everyone around her knows it. Her anxiety is through the roof. She over-exerted herself and the cracks started to show pretty quickly.”
They continued: “Fortunately she has got a support system. Everyone is encouraging her to take care of her own mental health – because she needs to.”
Ariana and Cynthia’s relationship
Throughout the press tour, fans have noted just how close Erivo and Grande are.
The family member noted that Grande ‘has leaned on Cynthia a lot’ throughout the chaotic time, and that Erivo ‘checks in’ with her multiple times a day.
They added: “She has almost taken a motherly role, but definitely a big sister.
“Cynthia is helping her get through this latest bout.”
After winning back-to-back Golden Globe nominations for best supporting actress in the film, Grande has again been nominated since the release of For Good.
Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter about the nominations, she said: “It is definitely just as exciting [as last year’s nomination] and kind of blindsiding.
“You don’t expect something like this, let alone [for it] to happen twice for the same role.
“So I’m just deeply honored. I’m just really moved by it.”
