Harry Potter Star Bonnie Wright Welcomes Her First Child And Shares Unique Name
Bonnie Wright has celebrated the arrival of her first child and revealed the infant’s unique name.
Wright, 32, is an English actress, filmmaker and dedicated environmental activist who is best known for playing Ginny Weasley in all eight of the Harry Potter movies.
She’s gone on to appear in films such as Before I Sleep (2013) and After the Dark (2014).
The actress, who is married to Andrew Lococo, has joyfully announced to fans that she welcomed a baby boy last week.
She’s shared an adorable snap on Instagram in which the infant can be seen in a striped beanie and onesie.

The image is captioned: “Say hello to Elio Ocean Wright Lococo born at home on Tuesday 19th September.”
“We’re all healthy and happy. Andrew and I are so in love with our sun! So grateful for our birth team that have held our hands throughout and made the journey so joyous and expanding.”
Wright also thanked the doula, midwives, doctor, and all the dedicated maternity professionals for their ‘amazing’ work.
She then went on to include a brief tribute to her husband, adding: “Lastly thanks to Andrew my rock throughout birth quite literally as I squeezed onto you so tight and you never wavered. Elio has the most tender loving papa.”
According to Nameberry, Elio is a boy’s name of Italian origin meaning ‘sun’.
The baby name site says that Ocean is of Aboriginal origin and simply means ‘ocean’.

Fans of the novel series by J. K. Rowling have rushed to the comments section to congratulate the star on the happy news, with one user writing: “He shares the same birthday as Hermione Granger!”
Another adds: “Awww Hello baby! Welcome!!!”
“100 points to Gryffindor,” somebody else jokes.
It hasn’t stopped there, as a bunch of celebrities have also been quick to send messages to Wright.
