Brooklyn Beckham Finally Reveals Why He Blocked David And Victoria
Brooklyn Beckham has finally revealed why he blocked his A-list parents, David and Victoria, after reportedly issuing them a legal letter.
Following a year-long feud with his family, it was reported just last week that Brooklyn, 26, has issued his parents a legal letter.
It seems things have truly reached boiling point between the relatives, after tension that began when Brooklyn married his now wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, in 2022.

David and Victoria truly gave a new meaning to the term ‘power couple’ in 1997, when the Spice Girl and footballer first started dating.
Just months before they wed in 1999, the couple welcomed their first child, Brooklyn, eventually adding three more to the gang – 23-year-old Romeo, 20-year-old Cruz, and their only daughter, 14-year-old Harper Beckham.
But it seems tension arose within the tight-knit family prior to Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding, despite the newlywed couple shutting down rumors that there was an issue between them at the time.

Rumors stirred given Victoria’s fashion empire, as many assumed that Nicola would opt for a custom VB gown for her big day.
So people were shocked to learn that the 31-year-old wore a Valentino Couture dress for her wedding.
It wasn’t until 2025 that estrangement rumors were in full force, and now Brooklyn has seemingly revealed all.
After some rather strange social media behavior, it seems the family have now given up denying rumors that there are some pretty major problems.
What does Brooklyn do now?
It seems Brooklyn has tried his hand at many different careers having grown up in the spotlight.
Given his dad’s enormous success in Premier League football and beyond, he had some early aspirations, and spent some time at Arsenal’s academy.
After deciding it wasn’t for him, Brooklyn went onto landing some pretty significant modeling gigs, including Vogue and Superdry.
But it seems that the star has landed firmly on culinary arts, and uses his platform to promote his cooking show – Cookin’ with Brooklyn.
As for Nicola, she is an American actress, having starred in numerous high-profile music videos and a number of films.
‘They woke up blocked’
As of December, eagle-eyed users online spotted that Brooklyn was no longer following his parents, nor his siblings Cruz and Romeo.
Nicola also doesn’t follow the Beckhams, nor do they follow her.
Cruz, 20, set the record straight in a brutal statement on his Instagram.
After a story was published about David and Victoria unfollowing their first-born son, Cruz responded: “NOT TRUE.
“My mum and dad would never unfollow their son, let’s get the facts right.
“They woke up blocked, as did I.”
Rumors have circulated online that Nicola is fueling the feud, but a friend close to the couple has addressed those claims.
Speaking to the Mirror, a source said: “This narrative is so s**ist and misogynistic, and he does not stand for his wife being vilified in this way.
“It’s a story as old as time: blame the woman for the man’s actions. It’s just deeply insulting.”
Why has Brooklyn issued his parents a legal letter?
Having been blocked on social media and with a legal letter reportedly now sent their way, it’s safe to say that Victoria and David have been left devastated by the unfolding situation.
A source close to the family said: “They are only doing what every parent would do in this situation….they love Brooklyn deeply and will always be there for him.”
And it seems Brooklyn’s choice to block his parents has now been revealed.
The legal letter urged David and Victoria to cease direct contact with Brooklyn.
The reported letter stated that his parents mustn’t contact him or make public statements about him on social media.
There was no legal action between them; the letter was simply a request.
But it seems despite the rocky relationship (or lack there of) with his parents, Brooklyn has made one thing clear – he is still very fond of his grandparents, and keeps in close contact.
It’s now been revealed that the legal letter was issued in an attempt to protect the 26-year-old’s mental health, after online posts that he was formerly tagged in by the family had ‘affected him.’
Any chance of reconciliation needs to happen ‘privately,’ according to the star.
