Victoria Beckham Confirms She Has Changed Her Name
Victoria Beckham has changed her name in a move that has shocked everyone.
The Beckham family feud has taken a dramatic turn this week, after 26-year-old Brooklyn released a scathing statement, making numerous allegations against his parents, David and Victoria.
Among the most serious accusations, he alleged that Victoria ‘hijacked’ his first dance at his wedding, behaving ‘very inappropriately’ in front of 500 guests, and left him feeling ‘uncomfortable’ and ‘humiliated.’
This all comes after Victoria changed her name, starting a new era.

The Beckham family brand
The Beckham family has built a formidable multi-generational brand spanning sports, fashion, and entertainment.
David’s football legacy established the foundation, while Victoria transformed from Spice Girl to a respected fashion designer.
Their carefully curated public image balances aspiration with relatability, luxury lifestyle content mixed with family moments.
The brand extends through endorsements, documentaries, and their children’s emerging careers in modeling and cooking.

The Beckhams represent British glamour exported globally, monetizing both their individual achievements and their collective family narrative.
However, their eldest son, Brooklyn, has now alleged that his parents prioritized ‘Brand Beckham’ over authentic family relationships – exposing tensions within their estimated $670 (£500m) empire and challenging their carefully controlled narrative, the BBC reports.
But this isn’t the only time the Beckham family has faced troublesome times.
Victoria and David Beckham’s early relationship
In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres in 2008, David revealed that he knew Victoria was the one for him, long before they ever crossed paths.
He recalled: “I was in a hotel room with my best friend, who was my best man at my wedding.
“I remember turning around – before I’d even met Victoria – and said, ‘I want to marry that one.'”
Victoria separately claimed that ‘love at first sight does exist,’ after the pair tied the knot in 1999.

They now share four children: sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, as well as daughter Harper.
And while the duo have often been looked up to as the ultimate early 2000s ‘couple goals,’ life hasn’t always been picture-perfect for the pair.
In 2003, after having their first two children, the couple announced that they were moving to Spain after David signed a four-year contract with Real Madrid.
But here is when the family hit a rocky patch.
Cheating scandal
In 2004, just a year after their move to Spain, David’s former personal assistant, Rebecca Loos, claimed that the two had an affair while he was playing for Real Madrid.
The former footballer has consistently denied the allegations, previously citing them as ‘ludicrous,’ and it was a huge talking point of their 2023 Netflix series, Beckham.
In the show, Victoria described the alleged affair as the ‘hardest period’ of her life, with tabloids splashing the story relentlessly.

“I don’t know how we got through it, in all honesty,” David added. “Victoria’s everything to me. To see her hurt was incredibly difficult. But, we’re fighters. And at that time, we needed to fight for each other, we needed to fight for our family. And what we had was worth fighting for.”
Loos recently gave an interview with 60 Minutes Australia, in which she insisted the supposed affair really happened.
She claimed: “I have stuck to the truth. I’ve never exaggerated.
“I never lied about a single thing. Why? Because I’m going up against the strongest, most powerful couple in the media who have all the money in the world for the best PR, the best lawyers.
“And all I had on my side was the truth.”

David and Victoria have learned over time how to rise above the noise, and just last year marked a special chapter in their lives.
Victoria’s name change
David received a knighthood from King Charles on November 4, 2025, for his outstanding contribution to sport and charity.
And while he celebrated becoming Sir. David Beckham, Victoria also gained a new title as a result.
Gushing about her husband’s achievement on Instagram, she wrote: “David, from the moment I met you 28 years ago, you’ve always been so proud to represent your country.
“Whether on or off the pitch, no one loves England or respects our Royal Family more, so to see you honoured by The King today is something I’ll forever cherish.
“You’ve achieved so much, and yet you’re still the same kind, humble, hardworking man I met nearly 30 years ago, as well as the most amazing husband and father.”
She added: “I’ve never felt prouder than I do today. Sir @davidbeckham, we all love you so much xxx”
In keeping with royal tradition, the former Spice Girl is now entitled to call herself Lady Beckham – a title given to the wife of a man who has been knighted as a ‘Sir.’
While the title is optional, it’s been reported that Victoria is keen to take on her ‘Lady’ title.
