YouTuber Trisha Paytas Welcomes Baby Boy With ‘Worst Name Ever’
YouTube personality Trisha Paytas has once again sparked intense debate online after revealing the name of her third child, a baby boy born on July 12, 2025.
The social media influencer announced the arrival of her son during an episode of her podcast Just Trish on July 22, after keeping fans in suspense for weeks.
Paytas, who shares three children with husband Moses Hacmon, described the birth as ‘surprising and traumatic,’ requiring an emergency C-section.
Despite the challenging delivery, both mom and baby are healthy and thriving. “You’re okay, you’re doing great,” husband Moses Hacmon reassured her at the episode’s start. “The baby is 100% okay, doing great – like, that’s first thing first.”
The name reveal came nearly an hour into the podcast episode, with Paytas building anticipation by discussing names she had considered but ultimately rejected.
This isn’t the first time Paytas has made headlines for her naming choices.
Her eldest daughter, born in 2022, was named Malibu Barbie, while her second daughter, born in May 2024, was given the name Elvis.
Each announcement has generated significant discussion online, with reactions ranging from support to strong criticism.
When explaining her choice to name her daughter Elvis, Paytas previously stated on her podcast: “I love all names, I think they’re so cute, but I’ve always manifested Malibu and Elvis. It’s always been [one of the] names I’ve said, so that’s it.”
She added that while Elvis could be considered masculine, she would give it to a girl as well.
Social media platforms have been flooded with reactions to the latest name announcement.
“This poor child’s gonna get picked on so bad for that name. I never understood why some people purposely do that to a child,” commented one user.
Others have been more direct in their criticism, with comments like: “What an awful name for a child. Whatever happened to just calling your child something normal?” and: “Please stop naming your children this stuff.”
Some have predicted that the child will eventually change their name when old enough to do so, while others have called the naming choice ‘cruel.’
For weeks leading up to the announcement, fans had been speculating wildly about the baby’s name. Popular theories included oceanic options like Trident, Sharkboy, Moses Jr., and Percy Jackson.
Given Paytas’ track record, followers knew to expect something unconventional.
True to form, the influencer kept audiences in suspense, waiting nearly an hour into the podcast before the big reveal.
Throughout the episode, she teased listeners by ruling out various contenders, including Gerard Way (a My Chemical Romance reference) and Gerard Wave.
But it was the baby’s real name that stole the show.
“I feel like we’re being pranked,” one fan wrote.
“This is downright cruel smh,” another said.
A third said: “It’s even worse than her others…”
“What a ridiculous name. This poor baby is going to get bullied,” a fourth wrote.
And a final commenter wrote: “Are you joking?? Literally you have to change it. There is no way.”
