Although she was regularly selling out stadiums, the pop star was racking up an eye-watering amount of debt.

The ‘Born This Way’ singer says that she found out from her team afterwards.
“I remember I called everybody and said, ‘Why is everyone saying I have no money? This is ridiculous, I have five No. 1 singles’,” she recalls.
“And they said, ‘Well, you’re $3 million in debt.”
Lady Gaga goes on to say that she would still pursue a career in the music industry – even if she was penniless.
She explains that she’s ‘not obsessed with material things’ and doesn’t ‘care about the money’.
Lady Gaga reportedly saw her luck change for the better when her tour was staged at bigger venues.
She tells FT that she managed to fix the debt through the ‘sheer quality and popularity’ of her music.
The tour ended up taking in an estimated £138 million and was seen by 2.5 million people around the world, reports Capital FM.
Lady Gaga hasn’t just made her sheer fortune through her music, as she’s also added to her net worth by delving into acting.
