Madonna Feels ‘Lucky To Be Alive’ After Health Scare
Madonna says she feels ‘lucky to be alive’ following a recent health scare.
The Queen of Pop, 64, boasts timeless classics such as ‘Like a Virgin’, ‘Vogue’ and ‘Like a Prayer’ and throughout her illustrious career, she has become one of the best-selling artists of all time.
But recently, the ‘Holiday’ singer suffered quite a health scare that has made her step back from the limelight.
According to reports, the legendary pop diva endured a concerning health incident in New York.

Madonna was reportedly found unconscious and immediately rushed to the hospital due to a severe bacterial infection.
The ‘La Isla Bonita’ artist is believed to have had quite a frightful ordeal as she spent at least one night intubated before finally getting the tube removed.
This incident struck Madonna at an unfortunate time, as she was just gearing up for her highly anticipated Celebration tour.
Fortunately, after a few days of medical attention, the superstar was able to return home to recuperate.
Madonna, like many of us, loves to share her life and thoughts on social media.
She’s now taken to Instagram to open up about her experience during those days in the intensive care unit.

She writes: “When the chips were down my children really showed up for me. I saw a side to them I had never seen before. It made all the difference.
“So did the love and support from my friends.”
One of the pictures Madonna has shared captures her holding a framed Polaroid taken by none other than Andy Warhol.
In the picture, pop art legend Keith Haring is wearing a jacket adorned with Michael Jackson’s face.
This gift has had a profound impact on Madonna, and she has confesses that she shed tears upon opening it.

She adds: “I sobbed when I opened this gift because I realised how lucky I am to be alive.
“And how fortunate I am to have known these people and so many others who are also gone.
“Thank you to all my angels who protected me and let me stay to finish doing my work.”
Madonna plans to reschedule the North American leg of her 40th anniversary tour, which was originally set to kick off in Vancouver.
Instead, she’ll begin in Europe in October, with four sold-out shows at London’s O2 Arena.
This isn’t the first time Madonna has faced health challenges.
In 2019 and 2020, she had to cancel some dates on her Madame X tour due to overwhelming pain.
